STARTING FROM A SKETCH

CALICOUNT MARKET PLAN
---Nov/2023
Each product is labeled not by weight but by calorie content. There are QR codes to scans and automatically calculates the total calories of the purchased goods and syncs this data to the user's mobile app. It simplifies calorie tracking to make consumers easier on dietary choices directly as they shop.

FACING THE CHALLENGE
The primary obstacle was designing an intuitive system that could seamlessly being easy for the consumer to use. I conducted extensive user research, including interviews and surveys with potential users who frequently struggled with traditional diet tracking apps. The feedback was clear—they needed a simpler than tradition calorie tracking app.
