OVERVIEW.
The Trops is a cultural art platform connecting communities curated experiences and events.
As a UX designer and frontend collaborator, I redesigned the company website in WordPress and refreshed the brand guidelines system while also contributing to the front-end design of the mobile app shipped to the App Store.
THE PROBLEM.
The Trops had an outdated brand guidelines system and a website, my mission was to redesign the ecosystem in order to reflect the platform's identity or effectively communicate its value. Adding cohesive visual language connecting the web and mobile experiences.
WHAT I DID.
I rebuilt the company website end-to-end in WordPress, handling both the UX and frontend implementation independently. I redesigned the brand guidelines, modernizing the color system, typography, and component language to create a consistent foundation the team could build on.
For the mobile app, I led the visual and UX design before handing off to a frontend developer for implementation. The app was successfully launched on the App Store.
OUTCOME.
The new website drove a measurable increase in web traffic. The brand guidelines were adopted by the team and are now the design foundation across both web and mobile, creating visual consistency across the full Trops ecosystem.

LOW-FIDELITY MOCKUPS.
In the early planning phase, I mapped out the full site architecture through low-fidelity wireframes, covering Home, Platforms, Art Experiences, Exhibitions, About, and Contact. The focus at this stage was on information hierarchy and user flow.
Establishing layout logic early allowed the team to align on structure before moving into high-fidelity design, reducing ambiguity and keeping development efficient.
TOKEN DROPS ANIMATION.
Designed the check-in reward interaction for the mobile app, reinforcing the platform's art discovery loop through motion feedback.
